Firefly Lane stars Katherine Heigl as Tully Hart, a famous TV anchor from Tacoma, Washington. Sarah Chalke co-stars as Kate Mularkey, a writer who clashes with her best friend while repairing her marriage. The storyline jumps back in forth in time as the main players make mistakes and learn from their experiences. Composers Lisa Coleman (Heroes) and Wendy Melvoin (Crossing Jordan) scored the Netflix series; music supervisor Tiffany Anders (Reservation Dogs) handled the featured needle-drops.
