Michael Shannon co-stars as George Jones, a country music icon who struggles with his alcoholism. The storyline follows the main players as they get married and perform together. Composer David Mansfield (Heaven’s Gate) scored the Showtime series; music supervisor Gowa Peshewa selected the featured needle-drops.
