1899 stars Emily Beecham as Maura Franklin, a neurologist who travels to New York City on ship. Aneurin Barnard co-stars as Daniel Solace, an enigmatic passenger who helps investigate a missing vessel. The storyline follows a captain and his passengers as they reach an epiphany about their fantastic voyage. Composer Ben Frost (Dark) scored the Netflix series; music supervisor Ian Neil (Pistol) selected the featured needle-drops.
