Mayor of Kingstown stars Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky, a convicted felon who maintains order in a Michigan prison community. Dianne Wiest co-stars as Miriam McLusky, the mother of the “Mayor” who advises him to leave town. Composed by Andrew Lockington (American Gods), the series explores themes of masculinity, justice and accountability. The soundtrack was supervised by Andrea von Foerster (Yellowstone), who peppers the pilot episode with a hair band classic and two R&B anthems. Here’s every featured song in Mayor of Kingstown.

  • “We’re No Good Together” by Tesla (00:29:00): Vera approaches Alberto. The man asks to visit the Jungle Room. Vera requests an upfront payment.
  • “I’d Die Without You” by P.M. Dawn (00:31:00): The Mayor of Kingstown music plays during a Jungle Room sequence. Vera begins performing to the first of three songs for Alberto.
  • “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” by En Vogue (00:32:00): Vera’s second dance begins. The song title aligns with her perspective as a professional dancer. Alberto leaves but promises to see Vera again.

  • “Dynamic” by Kairo & WOLVES feat. Sha’Ki (00:21:00): Bunny checks out a roll of cash. He receives a phone call from Mike. Bunny requests a meal from White Castle.
  • “The End” by The Doors (00:46:00): Kenny arrives at the Kingstown Police Department. He prepares to start a new chapter in his life. The Doors’ classic plays as Mike learns that his arrest plan didn’t work; inmates beat, stab and kill Kenny.
