We Own This City stars Jon Bernthal as Wayne Jenkins, the leader of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force. Wunmi Mosaku co-stars as Nicole Steele, an attorney for the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. The storyline chronicles the institutional corruption and racism that led to a 2017 federal racketeering case. Composer Kris Bowers (Dear White People) scored the HBO miniseries; music supervisor Blake Leyh (The Wire) handled the featured needle-drops.
