Love & Death stars Elizabeth Olsen as Candy Montgomery, a married Texas woman who pursues an affair in 1980. Jesse Plemons co-stars as Allan Gore, a married man who reluctantly agrees to a sexual relationship with the main character. The storyline follows Candy as she defends her actions after a murder. Composer Jeff Russo (Fargo) scored the HBO Max series; music supervisor Robin Urdang (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) handled the featured needle-drops.
