The Patient stars Steve Carell as Alan Strauss, a Jewish therapist and widower who treats a patient under unique and dangerous circumstances. Domhnall Gleeson co-stars as Sam Fortner, an admitted serial killer who seeks immediate help for his behavior. The storyline follows Alan as he gets locked up in a country home and agrees to continue treating Sam. Composers Nathan Barr (The Great) and Justin Caine Burnett (9-1-1: Lone Star) scored the FX on Hulu miniseries; music supervisor Amanda Krieg Thomas (Pose) selected the featured needle-drops.
