Created by Nick Antosca (Channel Zero) and Lenore Zion (Ray Donovan), Brand New Cherry Flavor takes place in 1990 Los Angeles and follows an aspiring filmmaker named Lisa. When she’s betrayed by a Hollywood producer, a witch with unclear motivations shows up and helps the protagonist seek revenge. Brand New Cherry Flavor Cast: Rosa Salazar as Lisa Nova
Character Profile: The director of a black and white short film called “Lucy’s Eye.” She signs a deal with a Hollywood producer, only to be misled about the production specifics. Lisa meets a witch named Boro, who offers a chance to seek supernatural revenge (a plan that involves vomiting kittens and also giving birth to them through a torso vagina). In the process, Salazar’s character must confront nightmares from her past.
