Swarm stars Dominique Fishback as Dre, a Houston native who obsesses over a pop star named Ni’Jah (Nirine S. Brown). Chloe Bailey co-stars as Marissa, the main character’s sister who has a fateful encounter in the first episode. The storyline follows Dre as she begins a killing spree while keeping an eye on her favorite musician. Composer Michael Uzowuru (Guava Island) scored the Amazon series; music supervisors Jonathan Leahys (Girls) and Alison Rosenfeld Moses (Fresh Off the Boat) selected the featured needle-drops.
