Sneakerella stars Chosen Jacobs as El, a Queens native who hopes to be a shoe designer. Lexi Underwood co-stars as the protagonist’s love interest, Kira King, while Devyn Nekoda portrays a loyal friend named Sami. The storyline follows El as he overcomes various obstacles upon receiving a life-changing opportunity with “sneaker royalty.” Composer Elvin Ross (For Better or Worse) scored the 112-minute Disney+ film, which includes eight musical numbers.   • “Best Ever” by Clyde Lawrence, Gracie Lawrence and Jordan Cohen (00:17:00): El smiles at Kira on a train. He breaks into song and describes his borough. “Best Ever” can also be heard at 00:26:00.
  • “In Your Shoes” by William Behlendorf, Jason Mater and Brandon C. Rogers (00:31:00): El thinks about his childhood. He sings the Sneakerella soundtrack song while celebrating his mother’s influence. El vows to re-trace her steps.
  • “Work Up” by Anthony Ferrari, Sean Turk and Dewain Whitmore (00:46:00): El experiences a creative epiphany. He works on a new design based on his childhood and individuality. The music plays again at 01:50:00.
  • “Life Is What You Make It” by Tova Litvin and Doug Rockwell (00:53:00): Gustavo (Juan Chioran) urges El not to give up on his dreams. He performs the Sneakerella soundtrack song during a street sequence. The track is also featured at 01:33:00 and 01:47:00.
