Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings follows a San Francisco resident named Shaun. After receiving a message from his sister in China, the protagonist travels to Macau with his best friend, Katy. There, Shaun and company learn about an ancient gate in Ta Lo, and try to defend a village from the devious Wenwu. Character Profile: A San Francisco resident and Fairmont Hotel valet. He fled China at age 15 after being trained by his father to be an assassin. Shaun, or Xu Shang-Chi, reunites with his sister and tries to prevent his father from unleashing supernatural demons.
