The Postcard Killings stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Jacob Kanon, an American cop who investigates his daughter’s death in Europe. Famke Janssen co-stars as Valerie Kanon, the protagonist’s ex-wife. The storyline follows Jacob as he targets a suspicious couple with a German police inspector. Composer Simon Lacey (Long Lost Family) scored the 104-minute film; music supervisor David Fish (Rye Lane) selected the featured needle-drops.   • “Casta Diva” by Marina Mescheriakova, Slovak Philharmonic Chorus, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and Michael Halász (00:21:00): Jacob finishes a conversation during an airport scene. The Postcard Killings soundtrack song scores a flashback montage. Jacob attends his daughter’s wedding. In the present, he sleeps at an airport. Jacob then listens to a news report as Inspector Klau Bublitz (Joachim Król) enters his office in Munich. Jihan (Dionne Hernemar) says, “You did a good thing.” The music fades as Klau exits a building and smokes a cigarette. It plays again at 01:38:00 during the end credits.
  • “Abyssum Abyssum Invocat” by Simon Lacey, Olivia Moss (01:32:00): The Postcard Killings soundtrack song is featured during an exterior scene. Jacob points a gun at Marina Haysmith aka Sylvia Randolph (Naomi Battrick). Dessie (Cush Jumbo) sits on her knees and wears a red jacket. Simon Haysmith aka Mac Randolph (Ruairi O’Connor) says, “Marina, are we ok?” He gets shot by Jacob. Marina runs away. Jacob holds Dessie. Marina pulls Simon through the snow.
