Lift stars Kevin Hart as Cyrus, a professional thief who prepares for a dangerous gig. Gugu Mbatha-Raw co-stars as Abby, an Interpol agent who leads a secret mission. The storyline follows the main protagonists as they plan a complicated heist on an airplane. Composers Dominic Lewis (Violent Night) and Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill) scored the 107-minute Netflix film; music supervisor Gabe Hilfer (Ozark) selected the featured needle-drops. • “Edamame” by bbno$ feat. Rich Brian (00:11:00): Abby calls for a yellow notice on N8 (Jacob Batalon). The Lift soundtrack song scores a character ID montage. Cyrus navigates a yacht with N8.
• “Players (DJ Smallz 732 Remix)” by Coi Leray (00:12:00): N8 receives a $20 million payment. The track continues during a yacht sequence. Cyrus parties with his crew.
• “Pop Out” by Big Boogie (00:35:00): Mollsen (Oli Green) sits down in his private jet. Music plays from the speaker system. Cyrus and Abby react to a stripper pole.
• “Chop Suey!” by System of a Down (00:37:00): Magnus (Billy Magnussen) starts a presentation. The Lift soundtrack song plays from his phone. Magnus mouths the lyrics while talking about sound waves.
