Against the Ice follows two Danish explorers who attempt to establish Peary Land as part of Greenland in 1909. Ejnar Mikkelsen makes a return trip to the Arctic and receives help from a mechanic named Iver. The two men try to disprove the United States’ claim to Northeast Greenland.
