Written by Park Eun-kyo and directed by Choi Hang-yong, The Silent Sea follows a mission to the moon. Korea’s Space and Aeronautics Division enlists a group of specialists to acquire a lunar sample five years after a deadly radiation incident. The mission goes horribly wrong when the SAA astronauts discover that someone, or something, lives at the Balhae Lunar Research Station. The Silent Sea Cast: Bae Doona as Song Ji-an

Character Profile: An ethologist and former astrobiologist. Her late sister was the head researcher at the Balhae Base Research Station. Ji-an protects a human clone named Luna 073 and hopes to keep her safe at the International Institute of Space Biology.

The Silent Sea Cast: Gong Yoo as Han Yoon-jae
