• “Jump” by Van Halen (00:02:00): The Mayday soundtrack song scores an exterior sequence. An interstitial graphic establishes the setting as 1987 in the Pacific Ocean. Troy and Danny aka Longshot (Alex Mallari Jr.) chat while flying airplanes.
• “Obsession” by Animotion (00:07:00): The Mayday music is featured during an exterior sequence. Troy wears a U.S. Navy uniform and walks down a sidewalk with three fellow servicemen. He talks about world politics and “individual freedoms.”
• “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen (00:28:00): Troy enters a vehicle. Music plays from the speaker system. Nikolai pounds on a window and says, “Hey! Come back inside, my friend.”
• “Belaya Cheryomuha” by Anna German (00:30:00): Troy enters a restaurant in Russia. The Mayday soundtrack song plays from the speaker system. Troy wears brown pants and a green sweater.
• “Downbound Train” by Bruce Springsteen (00:42:00): Nikolai drives a light green vehicle and trims his beard. Troy says, “I don’t know if it’s safe to drive that way.” Nikolai parks the vehicle on a lake.
