Black Phone 2 stars Ethan Hawke as Grabber, a serial killer who returns from the dead. Mason Thames co-stars as Finn, the person responsible for eliminating the aforementioned murderer. The storyline follows the main players as they once cross paths during a bizarre 1982 reunion. Composer Atticus Derrickson (V/H/S/85) scored the 114-minute film; music supervisor Julie Sessing Turner (They/Them) selected the featured needle-drops. - “Subways of Your Mind” by FEX (00:06:00): Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) walks outdoors with her brother, Finn, on a sidewalk. She briefly chats with Ernesto (Miguel Mora). Gwen discusses her love life with Mason and calls her sibling a “jizz mopper.” The Black Phone 2 soundtrack song continues during a transition sequence. Finn watches the program Night Flight on a television. He talks to his father, Terrence (Jeremy Davies).
- “Another Brick in the Wall (Pt. 1)” by Pink Floyd (00:23:00): Terrence speaks to Finn as the boy leaves for Alpine Lake. He says, “Finally get some peace and quiet around this place.” The track continues during a transition sequence. Ernesto drives a blue vehicle. Finn and Gwen arrive at their destination. They receive help from Mando (Demián Bichir).
