Gremlins stars Zach Galligan as Billy, a bank worker in Kingston Falls, Pennsylvania. Phoebe Cates co-stars as Kate, the protagonist’s colleague and girlfriend. The storyline follows Billy as he deals with a serious mogwai problem during the holiday season. Composer Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen) scored the 106-minute film; a music supervisor isn’t credited.   • “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by Darlene Love (00:05:00): The Gremlins soundtrack song scores the title sequence. A radio DJ named Ricky Rialto (Don Steele) speaks to Kingston Falls listeners. Sheriff Frank (Scott Brady) talks to Mr. Anderson (Harry Carey Jr.). Billy tries to start his vehicle during a transition sequence. He sits next to his dog, Barney aka Woof-Woof.
  • “Do You Hear What I Hear?” by Johnny Mathis (00:52:00): Lynn (Frances Lee McCain) receives a phone call from her son, Billy. She contemplates leaving her home. The Gremlins music sets in as Lynn cautiously looks around a room. She stops a record player.
  • “Out Out” by Peter Gabriel (01:13:00): A Dorry’s Tavern sequence begins. A gremlin swings from a fan. Kate screams as other creatures wreak havoc in the bar. She says, “Please just don’t bite me.” Kate then gets flashed by a naughty gremlin.
