  • “Higher Ground” by SKAAR (01:42:00): The Exterritorial soundtrack song accompanies an exterior sequence during the film’s final act. After surviving an assassination attempt, Sara enjoys some outdoors time with her mother, Anja (Susanne Michel), and son, Josh (Rickson Guy da Silva). She wears a white top and carries a brown bag. As a helicopter approaches nearby, Sara seemingly struggles with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), the result of a traumatic experiences in Afghanistan, where her late husband was killed during a mission. Josh says, “What is it, Mommy?” Moments later, Sara stares at the sky and states, “Just a helicopter, bud.” The Exterritorial music sets in soon after when Josh says, “Are we leaving soon?” Sara then travels in a vehicle with her son and smiles as the film ends, seemingly at peace with the past and present upon overcoming numerous emotional and physical obstacles. The track scores the film’s final moments and end credits.
