The Tearsmith stars Simone Baldasseroni as Rigel Wilde, an Italian orphan. Caterina Ferioli co-stars as Nica Dove, the protagonist’s longtime acquaintance who becomes his foster-sister. The storyline follows the main players as they develop a romantic bond. Composer Andrea Farri (Io Capitano) scored the 103-minute Netflix film; music consultant Giovanni Arcadu (Into the Labyrinth) helped select the featured needle-drops.
