Jake Lacy co-stars as Harry, Ruth’s partner who plans to propose during an outdoors adventure. The storyline follows the main protagonists as they cross paths with supernatural replicas. Significant Other Soundtrack: Every Song in the 2022 Paramount+ Movie
- “Day After Day” by Badfinger (00:02:00): The Significant Other soundtrack song plays during a road trip sequence. A promo plays for a Portland radio station. Harry sings along to the music. Ruth wakes up and stares at her boyfriend. The music continues during the opening credits sequence.
- “The Shakedown” by Brothers Dege (00:04:00): Harry and Ruth visit Bigfoot’s Burger Shack. Music plays from within the establishment. Harry carries food to an outdoors table. He talks to Ruth about plants in a survival guide.
- “Dance with Me” by Orleans (00:05:00): The Significant Other soundtrack song plays directly after “The Shakedown.” A young boy asks Harry and Ruth if they saw the “red star.” The music kicks in during a transition scene. Harry and Ruth arrive at the Red Ridge Trail.
- “Space Oddity” by David Bowie (01:16:00): Ruth looks at a Red Ridge Trail sign. A truck passes in front of her. Ruth starts her engine and drives away from the Red Ridge Trail. The music distorts and stops as a replica speaks through a stereo system.
