The Gentlemen stars Matthew McConaughey as Michael “Mickey” Pearson, an American marijuana kingpin in London who plans to retire. Charlie Hunnam co-stars as Raymond Smith, the focal antihero’s right-hand man who tries to outsmart a private investigator named Fletcher (Hugh Grant). The movie explores Mickey’s attempts to defeat anyone who challenges his throne. Composer Christopher Benstead (Wrath of Man) scored the 113-minute film; music supervisor Matt Aberle (He’s All That) picked the featured needle-drops. Here’s every song in The Gentlemen.

  • “Cumberland Gap” by David Rawlings (00:00:00): The Gentlemen soundtrack song scores an opening bar sequence. Mickey narrates about being a king. The music plays again at 01:18:00.
  • “Vitamin C” by Can (00:24:00): Fletcher introduces his story’s “queen,” Rosalind Pearson (Michelle Dockery). Mickey’s wife arrives at Rockflower. Rosalind ends a phone conversation with her husband and speaks with Misha (Eugenia Kuzmina).
  • “Count Your Blessings” by Mattiel (00:28:00): Raymond opens his freezer. He speaks to the corpse of Aslan (Danny Griffin). Rosalind chats with Dry Eye (Henry Golding) about business.
  • “The Snake” by Johnny Rivers (00:37:00): The Toddlers enter a fast food restaurant. They pick a fight with Coach (Colin Farrell ). The Gentlemen soundtrack song plays from within the establishment.
  • “Bush” by Bugzy Malone (00:39:00): Raymond shows Mickey a YouTube video. They watch a clip by The Toddlers. The song also plays during the end credits at 01:49:00.
  • “In Every Dream Home a Heartache” by Roxy Music (00:48:00): Raymond looks for Laura (Eliot Sumner). He knocks on an apartment door and visits with Aslan and company. The track amplifies at 00:49:00 when Raymond’s henchmen break in.
  • “Oh Shit” by The Pharcyde (00:56:00): Mickey gives Rosalind a paperweight gun. The Gentlemen soundtrack song plays at their warehouse. “Oh Shit” continues as Raymond informs Mickey about Laura’s safe return and Aslan’s death.
  • “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” by El Michels Affair (00:58:00): Mickey blackmails Raymond with a photo of Aslan’s dead body. The music sets in during a flashback sequence. Raymond covers up Aslan’s death and chases after a witness.
  • “Brothers on the Slide” by Cymande (01:03:00): Coach learns about Mickey from Chasa (Dominic Gibbs). The music plays at his gym. Ernie (Bugzy Malone) talks with Coach about Phuc (Jason Wong).
  • “Free Me” by Paul Jones (01:45:00): Mickey realizes that he’s been set-up. The tune scores an extended sequence. Coach saves Raymond from two hitmen; Fletcher escapes; The Toddlers rescue Mickey.
  • “That’s Entertainment” by The Jam (01:47:00): Fletcher finishes a pitch meeting with Miramax. He enters a vehicle and realizes that Raymond is the driver. The Gentlemen soundtrack song scores the film’s final moments and end credits.
