Elves stars Sonja Steen as Josephine, a Danish girl who discovers a real-life elf while vacationing at Aarmand Island. Ann Eleonora Jørgensen co-stars as Karen, a woman who tries to protect the local culture at all costs. Composers Anthony Lledo (Forhøret) and Mikkel Maltha (Riders of Justice) scored the first six episodes of the magical tale; Leslie Ming (Sygeplejeskolen) handled the featured needle drop tracks that complement the theme song, “Shchedryk,” by Nina E. Elves Soundtrack: Every Song in Season 1, Episode 1 “Aarmand Island”

• “Jingle Bells” by Kasper Soderlund (00:05): Josephine and her family head to Skovvangen 1 at Aarmand Island. The Elves soundtrack song kicks in during an overhead shot. The music cuts when Mads (Peder Thomas Pedersen) hits something — later revealed to be an elf — with his vehicle.
• “Silent Night” by Upright Music  (00:13): Charlotte (Lila Nobel) speaks with her son, Kasper (Milo Campanale). Josephine enters the room and describes her recent outdoor adventure.
• “Carol of the Bells” by Fallulah (00:15): Charlotte travels in a vehicle with Kasper. The boy tries to get phone service. Charlotte jokes with her son.

• “Hot Fra Traeets Gronne Top” by Gustav Winckler (00:04): Kasper tells his parents about a walk with Liv (Vivelill Søgaard Holm). Mads asks if his son “slipped her the tongue.” The Elves soundtrack song continues as Josephine enters the kitchen.
• “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” by Upright Music (00:15): Josephine helps decorate a Christmas tree. Mads kisses his wife. Møller (Rasmus Hammerich) watches the family from the woods.
