- “Tango in the Night” by Fleetwood Mac (00:22:00): Jay meets with an acquaintance named Timothy (Billy Crudup) at a bar. The characters discuss their time together at an acting school. Timothy delivers a dramatic line reading involving a menu. The Jay Kelly soundtrack song sets in moments later and plays from the speaker system. Timothy recalls “two bad decisions” from the past. He talks about passing on a role for the hit TV series 90210 and letting Jay come to a fateful audition. The moment sparks a dramatic change in the conversation. The Jay Kelly music continues playing from the speaker system. Timothy speaks about his family and makes a snarky remark about Jay’s divorces. Clooney’s character maintains a polite demeanor.
