Final Destination 5 stars Nicholas D’Agosto as Sam, an office worker who attends a company retreat. Emma Bell co-stars as Molly, the main protagonist’s ex-girlfriend. The storyline follows Sam as fate links him to the original franchise film. Composer Brian Tyler (Yellowstone) scored the 92-minute film; a music supervisor isn’t credited. Final Destination 5 Soundtrack: Every Song in the 2011 Movie
- “I Will Buy You a New Life” by Everclear (00:04:00): Molly drives a grey vehicle. The Final Destination 5 soundtrack song plays from the speaker system. Sam finishes a conversation with Peter (Miles Fisher). He talks to Molly about their travel plans and relationship in general.
- “Dust in the Wind” by Kansas (00:12:00): Sam travels on a bus during a bridge sequence. He licks a wound. The track plays from the vehicle’s speaker system. The tune is featured again at 00:18:00, 01:24:00 and 01:25:00.
- “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” by AC/DC (01:26:00): Nathan (Arlen Escarpeta) talks to a colleague during a bar scene. He learns that his late co-worker Roy (Brent Stait) had a brain aneurysm. Nathan gets killed by the debris of Flight 180. The Final Destination 5 music scores the film’s end credits and a montage sequence featuring the movie franchise’s goriest deaths.
