28 Days Later stars Cillian Murphy as Jim, a comatose bicycle courier who wakes up to an apocalyptic event. Naomie Harris co-stars as Selena, a fellow survivor. The storyline follows Jim as he strategizes against zombies while trying to survive. Composer John Murphy (The Suicide Squad) scored the 113-minute film, which features a total of nine credited needle-drops.   • “Abide with Me” by Perri Alleyne (00:22:00): Jim walks outdoors with Selena and Mark (Noah Huntley). He wears teal hospital clothing and a black jacket. The 28 Days Later soundtrack song continues as the characters enter Jim’s home. Murphy’s character walks up a staircase and covers his nose. He discovers the corpses of his mother and father, along with a note.
  • “A.M. 180” by Grandaddy (00:48:00): Jim and Selena enter a grocery store with Frank (Brendan Gleeson) and his daughter, Hannah (Megan Burns). The characters “shop” for supplies. Frank smells apples, while Jim talks about raw food. Selena bonds with Hannah.
  • “In Paradisium for Requiem” by Dr. Richard Marlow and the Choir of the Trinity College with the London Musici (01:00:00): Jim wakes up and enters a black vehicle with fellow survivors. The 28 Days Later music sets in during a transition sequence. Jim and company travel down a highway towards Manchester. They discover that the city has been ravaged by fires.
  • “Season Song” by Blue States (01:48:00): The 28 Days Later music scores the film’s end credits.
