Counterattack stars Luis Alberti as Armando, the captain of a Mexican special forces unit. Noé Hernández co-stars as Josefo, a Mexican cartel leader who seeks revenge for his father’s murder. The storyline follows the main players as they square off during a forest battle. Composer Victor Hernandez Stumpfhauser (Frida) scored the 84-minute Netflix film; music supervisor Mauricio Gonzo Arroyo (Where the Tracks End) selected the featured needle-drops. • “Del Valle Verde (Main)” by Byron Brizuela, Leonardo Gama (00:00:00): The Counterattack soundtrack song is featured during the opening exterior sequence. A car travels on a road during a wide shot. The music transitions into a Spanish ballad.
• “El Color De Tus Ojos” by Banda MS (00:00:00): The opening exterior sequence continues. Tanque (Leonardo Alonso) travels with his comrades and changes a radio station. Armando drives a vehicle.
• “Aunque tú No Lo Sepas (Main)” by Byron Brizuela, Cecilla Brizuela, Leonardo Gama (00:17:00): An exterior sequence begins. Toro (Guillermo Nava) and various comrades navigate a restaurant.
