- “Nightmare” by 212 (01:29:00): The A Nightmare on Elm Street soundtrack song scores the end credits. During the last scene (SPOILER ALERT), Nancy finishes a conversation with her mother, Marge (Ronee Blakley). She then enters a red convertible. Meanwhile, Marge stands on her front doorstep as Nancy gets trapped in the vehicle with friends. In a nearby yard, three girls sing a spooky tune that Nancy had previously recited to herself. The A Nightmare on Elm Street music continues as Fred Krueger pulls Marge through the blue front door before the film ends.
