The storyline follows the main protagonists as they bond while raging against the machine. Composer Christophe Beck (Frozen) scored the 99-minute Netflix film; music supervisor Kier Lehman (The Mitchells vs the Machines) selected the featured needle-drops.   • “Go!” by Santigold feat. Karen O. (00:20:00): Nimona listens to music. She dances in a kitchen. Nimona sings along to the song as Ballister watches from a couch.
  • “Careless Whisper” by Cast (00:29:00): The music is featured during a subway sequence. A saxophonist performs for money. Nimona rides an escalator with Ballister.
  • “The Tra La La Song (One Banana, Two Banana)” by The Banana Splits (00:32:00): An interior sequence begins. The Nimona soundtrack song plays during a “Dragon Krisps” commercial. Nimona teases Ballister with a piece of pizza.
  • “Breaking the Law” by Judas Priest (00:36:00): Ballister drives a vehicle. Ambrosius (Eugene Lee Yang) tries to “part the waters.” He flees from a “demon baby.”
