Swan Song stars Mahershala Ali as Cameron Turner, a sick artist who believes that a secret clone will benefit his family. Naomie Harris co-stars as Poppy Turner, the protagonist’s wife who hasn’t fully recovered from the death of her twin brother. Composed by Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things), the 112-minute drama features nearly 20 needle-drop tracks, courtesy of music supervisor Meghan Currier (Boyhood). Swan Song Soundtrack: Every Song in the 2021 Apple TV+ Movie
- “Quarrel” by Moses Sumney (00:06:00): Cameron arrives at home after meeting with doctors. He feeds his dog and enters the room of his son, Cory (Dax Rey). The Swan Song soundtrack song drops when Cameron takes out his ear pods.
- “I Really Love You” by Dee Dee Sharp (00:16:00): Cameron eats breakfast with his family. The music continues as Poppy stands still in the kitchen.
- “Running” by Helado Negro (00:17:00): Cameron finishes a video call with Alex (JayR Tinaco). He contemplates tea packaging designs and feeds his dog. The music fades as Alex receives a message about the online availability of Dr. Scott (Glenn Close).
- “Moon River” by Frank Ocean (00:34:00): The Swan Song soundtrack song accompanies a montage sequence. Cameron develops a relationship with Poppy. The couple celebrates a pregnancy and the birth of their son. “Moon River” also scores the end credits at 01:44:00.
- “Sometime It Snows in April” by Ray Angry feat. Kamilah Gibson (00:59:00): Poppy sings the song while playing the piano.
- “Doomed” by Moses Sumney (01:03:00): Cameron leaves Arra House. Jack watches from a window. The Swan Song soundtrack song continues during a montage sequence.
- “Please Won’t Please” by Helado Negro (01:16:00): Cameron visits with Kate (Awkwafina). He gives her a “Get Well Soon” card, which seemingly isn’t well-received by the sick character. Kate then laughs after seeing Cameron’s reaction.
