Opus stars Ayo Edebiri as Ariel Ecton, a journalist. John Malkovich co-stars as Alfred Moretti, a famous musician who releases a new album after a 30-year hiatus. The storyline follows Ariel as she attends a listening party and investigates the motivations of her mysterious subject. Composers Danny Bensi (Enemy), Saunder Jurriaans (Speak No Evil), Nile Rodgers (Coming to America) and The-Dream scored the 104-minute film; music supervisor Sara Newkirk Simon picked the featured needle-drops.
