Fountain of Youth stars John Krasinski as Luke Purdue, an American archaeologist. Natalie Portman co-stars as Charlotte Purdue, the protagonistโs museum curator sister. The storyline follows Luke and an investigative team as they search for a mythological location. Composer Christopher Benstead (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare) scored the 125-minute Apple TV+ film; music supervisor Jenn Egan (Conclave) selected the featured needle-drops. - “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” by Jayce (00:01:00): The Fountain of Youth soundtrack song scores the opening sequence. A cityscape montage begins as the title graphics appear. Luke rides a motorcycle and wears a red helmet. He ignores multiple phone calls from Kasem (Steve Tran).
- “Requiem: II. Dies Irae” by Sir Colin Davis and The London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (00:54:00): The Fountain of Youth music is featured during an interior scene. Luke tries to talk his way out of a difficult situation. He turns up the volume on a record player and hides under a pool table. A slow motion fight sequence begins.
- “Live Forever” by Oasis (01:58:00): Luke leaves the Pyramid of Giza with Charlotte. He talks about finding her a job. Charlotte teases another adventure. The track scores the film’s final moments and end credits.
