Monsieur Spade stars Clive Owen as Sam Spade, a retired detective who inherits a chateau. Cara Bossom co-stars as Teresa, a 15-year-old girl who receives protection from the protagonist. The storyline follows Sam as he investigates the deaths of several nuns. Composer Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit) scored the Canal+ series; music supervisor Thibault Deboaisne (Anatomy of a Fall) picked the featured needle-drops.
