Who Were We Running From stars Melisa Sözen as Mother, an unnamed woman who kills anybody that threatens her teenage daughter. Eylül Tumbar co-stars as Bambi, a young girl who draws attention because of her looks. The storyline follows the main characters as they flee from authorities while discussing Felix Salten’s 1923 book Bambi, a Life in the Woods. Composer Ahmet Kenan Bilgic (Butterflies) scored the Netflix series and also selected the featured needle-drops.
