The Taming of the Shrewd stars Magdalena Lamparska as Kaska, a bee expert who leaves Chicago for her native Polish village. Mikolaj Roznerski co-stars as Patryk, a wanderer from Warsaw who tries to prevent Kaska from interrupting her brother’s real estate deal. The storyline follows various people in Zakopane, Poland as they attempt to one-up each other. Composer Ignacy Zalewski (Teatr Polskiego Radia) scored the 112-minute film; music supervisor Anna Malarowska (Tatuskowie) handled the featured tunes.
