The storyline follows the main players and their colleagues as they discuss the most appropriate way to conduct their broadcast. September 5 Soundtrack: Every Song in the 2024 Movie
- “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival (00:03:00): An interior scene begins. Geoffrey receives a phone call. He closes a pocketbook and prepares to meet a colleague. The September 5 soundtrack song sets in during a transition sequence. Geoffrey drives a vehicle and smokes a cigarette. The track plays from the speaker system as the camera is positioned behind Magaro’s character. Geoffrey continues driving and arrives at his workplace near the Olympic Village. The September 5 music fades he enters a parking lot. Geoffrey parks his vehicle. The track has now completely stopped as Magaro’s character checks his appearance. He enters a building and gets confronted by his boss, Marvin Bader (Ben Chaplin). Geoffrey says, “Hey, I’m a minute and 30 seconds early. He looks at his watch and walks down a hallway. Marvin talks about “being in trouble with Rome.”
