The Essex Serpent stars Claire Danes as Cora Seaborne, a widow and naturalist who investigates a mythical creature. Tom Hiddleston co-stars as Will Ransome, a pastor who tries to protect Cora from a community of angry and grieving villagers in Aldwinter. The storyline follows the protagonists as they come to the realization that a fantastical sea dragon could indeed be real. Composers Dustin O’Halloran (Transparent) and Herdís Stefánsdóttir (Y: The Last Man) scored the Apple TV+ series, which features several English folk tunes.
