Daisy Edgar-Jones co-stars as Brenda Lafferty, a murder victim who appears in flashback sequences. The storyline follows Jeb as he links members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to a shocking crime. Composer Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam scored the miniseries with Josh Klingoffer (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and John Wicks (Fitz and the Tantrums); music supervisor Gabe Hilfer (Ozark) assembled the featured needle-drops.
