Metal Lords stars Jaeden Martell as Kevin Schlieb, a teenager who values friendships and heavy metal music. Adrian Greensmith co-stars as Hunter Sylvester, a social outcast who worries about a female cello player destroying his band. The storyline follows the protagonists as they prepare for a musical competition at Glenwood Lake High School. Composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones) scored the 97-minute film; music supervisor Denise Luiso (Cinderella) assembled the featured needle-drops.   • “Metal Gods” by Judas Priest (00:04:00): Emily (Isis Hainsworth) rages out while speaking with her marching band leader (portrayed by Chuck Klosterman). She throws her clarinet as the Metal Lords soundtrack song kicks in. Kevin narrates about his “metal” observation.
  • “Shape of You” by Mollycoddle (00:06:00): Kevin gazes at Emily. Clay (Noah Urrea) performs an Ed Sheeran cover with his band during a transition sequence. The track is also featured at 00:58:00.
  • “We Dem Boyz” by Mollycoddle (00:08:00): Kevin has fun at a party. He breaks a plastic shot cup and says, “Heavy metal rules!” The music plays briefly.
  • “The Trooper” by Iron Maiden (00:13:00): Hunter finishes a pep talk. He tells Kevin to meet him after school. The Metal Lords soundtrack song continues as Hunter uses his father’s credit card to buy a drum set at Guitar Center.
  • “Prelude in G Major” by Johann Sebastian Bach (00:16:00): Kevin watches Emily rehearse with a cello. He is surprised that she’s not playing the clarinet. The classical composition can be heard at again at 00:25:00 and during the end credits at 01:36:00.

  • “Painkiller” by Judas Priest (00:22:00): Hunter confronts a bully named Skip (Phelan Davis). He runs away and escapes in a vehicle with Kevin. The track accompanies a chase sequence.
