Set in Seattle, The Unforgivable stars Sandra Bullock as a convicted cop killer named Ruth Slater. Vincent D’Onofrio co-stars as a lawyer who tries to reunite the protagonist with her estranged sister. Oscar winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King) and fellow composer David Fleming (Dune) scored the 114-minute drama film; music supervisor Randall Poster (The Queen’s Gambit) assembled the needle drop tracks, some of which are performed by Aisling Franciosi as Katie Malcolm.   • “I Like It Small” by Mudhoney (00:07:00): Ruth arrives at a boarding home after being released from jail. She learns about the house rules. The Unforgivable soundtrack song fades as Ruth enters her room and meets several roommates.
  • “Jaw Bless” by Matthew McAnuff (00:30:00): Ruth walks through the streets of Seattle. She arrives at Spalding Street and spots Chapel Arts. The music drops when Ruth enters the building.
  • “The Skylark (From a Farewell to Saint Petersburg)” by Mikhail Glinka (00:35:00): Katie plays a piano at home. She remembers screaming as a child.
  • “Polk Salad Annie” by Tony Joe White (00:43:00): The Unforgivable soundtrack song scores a retirement party sequence. Steve Whelan (Will Pullen) watches his brother Keith (Tom Guiry) play ping pong. He then learns about two work addresses for Ruth.
  • “Magnolia” by J.J. Cale (00:57:00): Blake meets with Ruth at Helen’s Grill. He speaks about bonsai trees and says hello to friends. Blake continues to talk nervously as Ruth hears a story about the first Asian-American police officer in Seattle.
  • “No Scrubs” by TLC (01:01:00): Katie plays a piano at home. Her sister, Emily (Emma Nelson), checks her phone and laughs upon hearing the pop song. The siblings vocalize together.
  • “Everything In Its Right Place” by Katia Labeque (01:36:00): Katie performs in front of an audience in Seattle. Meanwhile, Ruth tries to protect Emily from Keith. The Unforgivable soundtrack song drops and then picks up again at 01:39:00 and 01:41:00.
