Sex Education season 3 examines the power struggle between students and a new headmaster at Moordale Secondary. All of the main cast members return for the third series installment, including Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn, Gillian Anderson as Jean Milburn, and Ncuti Gatwa as Eric Effiong. Girls alum Jemima Kirke co-stars as the primary villain, Hope Haddon. Supervised by Matt Biffa (The Last Letter from Your Lover), the soundtrack is fueled by nearly 50 mainstream tracks and original music by Ezra Furman. Sex Education Season 3 Soundtrack: Every Song in Episode 1

• “I Think We’re Alone Now” by The Rubinoos (00:00): The episode begins with various hook ups. Otis has sex in his car with Ruby (Mimi Keene), while Eric and Adam (Connor Swindells) get intimate in a bedroom. Lily (Tanya Reynolds) and Ola (Patricia Allison) also enjoy a role-play sexual adventure.
• “Hound Dog” by Big Mama Thornton (00:03): The Sex Education season 3 soundtrack song plays over the title graphic. Otis enjoys himself at home while sporting an old-time mustache.
• “Land Of 1000 Dances” by Wilson Pickett (00:11): Kirke makes her series debut as the new Moordale headmaster, Hope Haddon. The character dances to the song across a school stage, which both confuses and entertains various students.
• “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory (00:22): Eric learns that Otis received a hickie from Ruby. Butterfield’s character recalls how their sexual relationship started at Olivia’s party. Sex Education Season 3 Soundtrack: Every Song in Episode 2

• “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps” by Doris Day (00:00): Eric applies makeup to Adam’s face. The Sex Education season 3 soundtrack song aligns with the unease at the heart of the characters’ relationship. Adam says that he looks “quite pretty” and declares that he’s ready to have sex.
• “Fantastic Man” by William Onyeabor (00:04): Otis and Ruby try on outfits. Butterfield’s character feels like the character Magneto. Ruby says the mustache has to go.

• “Rock Me Gently” by Andy Kim (00:00): Jeffrey and Cynthia (Lisa Palfrey) have sex in their trailer park as the episode begins. A cat watches as the entire residence shakes. The Sex Education season 3 soundtrack song cuts when the pet named Jonathan gets killed by a falling microwave.
• “Blank Generation” by Richard Hell and the Voidoids (00:07): Jakob (Lisa Palfrey) comforts Jean. Meanwhile, Jeffrey and Cynthia go at it again. The song cuts when Maeve hits a switch in her home.
• “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels” by Todrick Hall (00:00): Eric puts on makeup and dances in his room. He throws books and looks for a text by Maya Angelou. The song ends with Eric performing to the beat and greeting Adam outside.
• “The Man in Me” by Bob Dylan (00:30): Adam impresses Ruby with his Kardashian knowledge. They bowl with Eric and Otis. All of the characters bond and seem to better understand each other as people.
